Notes from the CNY Learning Center

WOW! 2010 !!

Who would have thought the first 4 ½ years at the Center would have flown by so quickly. As you all know a lot has happened in and around the Center as well as in Lexington. Thanks to all of you, we are still here and continuing to do the work we do so well.We are barely back from the Christmas holiday break but everything is getting back to “normal.”

Remember how things were for Jeffrey after our Thanksgiving break? You can imagine how difficult it has been for him (and many other children) to get back in the groove after an even longer break. Fortunately for Jeffrey and all the children, we have very dedicated and talented tutors and scholars who are constantly seeking new ways to help reinforce and teach the needed sounds and concepts. We may have some ‘bad days’ at the Center, but no one gives up!!!

There will be a great deal of review and reinforcement going on as we work through the long winter. There are always new and interesting things happening at the Center. We are hoping to have our new Website up to date and in full swing before long. Since that form of technology is not Sandy's or my strong point we must rely on the skills of others who have offered to donate precious time from their busy lives to assist us. As always, feel free to give us a call or stop in when we are here (1-6 PM Mon-Th unless the schools are closed). We would love to hear from you and appreciate everything you do to keep us going.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Linda L. Martin
Director
